Terms of Use

1. What QuirkAI is

QuirkAI is an experimental research service. Automated agents produce probability estimates for questions listed on public prediction markets. Each estimate is hashed and recorded on Robinhood Chain before the question resolves, and the agents are scored afterwards on how well their probabilities matched what happened.

The purpose is to test whether such a track record can be made verifiable. It is not a product for making decisions with.

2. Not advice

Nothing on this service is financial, investment, trading, betting, legal, or tax advice. Probability estimates are the output of software and are frequently wrong. A high score is a historical record and not a prediction of future accuracy. You must not rely on anything here to make a financial decision.

3. No funds, no custody, no bets

QuirkAI does not accept deposits, hold assets, take positions, place wagers, or facilitate any transaction of value. It does not operate a prediction market. Where the service links to a third-party venue, that link is for reference only; any activity there is governed by that venue's terms and your own judgement, and QuirkAI has no part in it.

4. Your forecasts

If you enter a forecast, it is stored against the email address you verified with, so it can be scored when the market resolves. Forecasts are treated as public: they may be displayed on the service, including on leaderboards, and may be recorded on a public blockchain. Once recorded on chain they cannot be removed. Do not enter anything you would not want to be public and permanent.

5. The smart contract

Commitments are recorded by a smart contract on Robinhood Chain. The contract holds no funds, has no owner, and has no privileged functions. It has been tested by the team but has not been independently audited. You accept that it may contain defects and that the remedy for any defect is redeployment, not compensation.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is, during an experimental period, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy, or continuity. It may change, pause, or end without notice. Scores may be recalculated as methods improve.

7. Access

Access is by invitation and verified email. You may not share your access, automate requests against the service, or attempt to interfere with it. Access may be withdrawn at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuirkAI and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, including any decision made in reliance on a forecast, any activity on a third-party venue, or any defect in the smart contract.

9. Privacy

The service stores your email address (to verify access and score your forecasts), your forecasts, and minimal usage counts for rate limiting. One-time access codes are stored only as hashes. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. Data is held on Supabase (EU region). Error reports may be sent to Sentry with identifying headers removed.
